Rigatoni al Segreto (Rigatoni with Secret Sauce) image

Tips:

  • Use a variety of vegetables in your meat sauce. This will add flavor, texture, and nutrients to the dish. Some good options include carrots, celery, onions, garlic, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
  • Choose a good quality ground beef. The higher the fat content, the more flavorful the meat sauce will be. However, you can also use a leaner ground beef if you prefer.
  • Simmer the meat sauce for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to develop and meld together.
  • Use a combination of cheeses in your baked rigatoni. This will create a more complex and flavorful dish. Some good options include mozzarella, Parmesan, and ricotta cheeses.
  • Bake the rigatoni until it is golden brown and bubbly. This will ensure that the pasta is cooked through and the cheese is melted and gooey.

Baked rigatoni with meat sauce is a classic Italian dish that is easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. With its hearty meat sauce, creamy cheese, and al dente pasta, it is a dish that is sure to satisfy everyone at the table.
