Tips:

  • For the best flavor, use fresh squash that is firm and free of blemishes.
  • If you don't have panko breadcrumbs, you can use regular breadcrumbs. Just be sure to toast them in a pan with some butter or oil until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • To make the parmesan breading extra flavorful, add some grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to the panko breadcrumbs.
  • Be sure to spray the squash with cooking spray before baking. This will help the breading to stick and will also prevent the squash from drying out.
  • Bake the squash until it is golden brown and crispy. This will take about 20 minutes.
  • Serve the baked parmesan breaded squash immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Conclusion:

Baked parmesan breaded squash is a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is crispy, flavorful, and sure to be a hit with everyone at the table. So next time you are looking for a new side dish to try, give this recipe a try.
