Half 17.5-ounce package frozen puff pastry, thawed
One 8-ounce wheel Brie cheese
1/4 cup mango chutney
1/4 cup golden raisins
5 tablespoons toasted slivered almonds
1 large egg
1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
French baguette, sliced, for serving
Sliced apples, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured work surface and roll into a 10-inch square. Place the Brie wheel in center of the pastry. Spread the chutney over the Brie; sprinkle with the raisins and almonds. Fold the dough up and over the cheese and fillings, pleating the dough to enclose like a packet or purse. Trim the dough, if needed. Flip the packet over and place on the prepared baking sheet.

1/3 cup sliced blanched almond
2 red apples, sliced
1 loaf French bread, sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degreesF.

0.5 (397 g) package puff pastry, thawed
1 round brie cheese (250g)
1/4 cup cross and blackwell mango chutney or 1/4 cup hot mango chutney
2 tablespoons pecans or 2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped
1 egg, beaten

Steps:

  • Roll puff pastry to 10-inch circle (or use one 10-inch sheet); place on a greased baking sheet.
  • Cut Brie in half crosswise; place bottom half on center of pastry.
  • Spread Brie with chutney and sprinkle with pecans.
  • Place remaining half of Brie, rind side up on top of Chutney.

8 ounces round brie cheese (about 4 inches in diameter)
assorted crackers or French bread, slices

Steps:

  • For caramelized onions, cook onion in hot butter or margarine in a small saucepan, covered, over low heat about 15 minutes or until tender and golden, stirring occasionally.
