KAHLUA & BAILEYS CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE
I lost my old recipe for Kahluah Pie and there were none like it on this site, so I improvised. It is silky, rich and I love the consistency: not too firm, soft and smooth but holds it's shape. And my crust stayed crisp! The toasted almonds are the perfect complement in flavor and crunch. A sliver is a serving - it is SO rich - and it can be made with any liqueur you like, Baileys and 'Hot Damn' (cinnamon) would be good, like the drink 'Oatmeal Cookie'.

Tips:
- Before you start baking, ensure all your ingredients are at room temperature. This will help them combine more evenly and create a smoother batter. - When melting the chocolate, do so slowly and gently. Overheating can cause the chocolate to seize and become grainy. - To achieve a flaky crust, handle the dough as little as possible. Overworking the dough can make it tough. - When baking the pie crust, prick the bottom with a fork to prevent it from puffing up. - For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet chocolate. - If you don't have any heavy cream, you can substitute with milk. However, the pie filling will be slightly thinner. - To make the whipped cream topping, use cold heavy cream and beat until stiff peaks form. - For a fun and festive touch, garnish the pie with grated chocolate, chocolate shavings, or cocoa powder. Conclusion:
