BACON BREAKFAST CASSEROLE (GLUTEN FREE)

Bacon Breakfast Casserole (Gluten Free) image

This is a simple recipe, easy to make. Really nice when you have company over in the morning. Get it ready, pop it in the oven and you have time to socialize while it's cooking! I cut this recipe in half and place it in a pie plate and bake uncovered for 45 minutes for breakfast for a smaller family; it tastes very much like a crustless quiche and my husband loves it! That is how it is shown in the picture.

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make your breakfast casserole even more delicious. Look for thick-cut bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, and fresh eggs.
  • Don't overcook the bacon: Overcooked bacon will be tough and chewy. Cook it until it is just crispy, but not burnt.

  • Make sure the casserole is cooked through: The center of the casserole should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit before you remove it from the oven.
