Number Of Ingredients 10

4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
2 cups sliced almonds
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup good honey
1 1/2 cups small diced dried apricots
1 cup small diced dried figs
1 cup dried cherries
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup roasted, unsalted cashews

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Toss the oats, coconut, and almonds together in a large bowl. Whisk together the oil and honey in a small bowl. Pour the liquids over the oat mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until all the oats and nuts are coated. Pour onto a 13 by 18 by 1-inch sheet pan. Bake, stirring occasionally with a spatula, until the mixture turns a nice, even, golden brown, about 45 minutes.

1/3 c honey
1/4 c maple syrup
1/3 c canola oil
2 Tbsp water
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
4 c oats
1/4 c sesame seeds
1/2 c sunflower seeds
3/4 c nuts, your choice
3/4 c coconut, shredded-optional
1/2-1 c raisins, i use 1 cup since i like them
1/2 c other dried fruit

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together honey, syrup, oil, water, vanilla, salt, & cinnamon
  • 2. In a large bowl combine oats, seeds, & nuts
  • 3. Bake on jelly roll pans in a 350 degree oven till golden brown.
  • 4. After done cooking add coconut, raisins, & dried fruit. Cool completely & stir with a fork
