2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
1 cup uncooked wild rice
½ cup water chestnuts, sliced
¼ cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
½ pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
½ cup onion, chopped

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring chicken broth to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  • In a 1 1/2 quart baking dish, mix chicken broth, uncooked wild rice, water chestnuts, 2 tablespoons butter and salt.

2 1/2 cups vegetable broth (chicken broth ok)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 small onion, chopped
