APPLE PIE FRUIT SALAD

Apple Pie Fruit Salad image

I want to give credit where credit is due. I changed Lisa Mersereau "better than sex fruit salad recipe" cause my wife does not like cherries. So I removed the cherry pie filling and replaced it with apple pie filling, food coloring, mandarin oranges and doubled the cool whip. OMG it was out of this world. Thanks Lisa.

SEVEN-FRUIT SALAD

Seven-Fruit Salad image

This refreshing fruit medley, lightly coated with cherry pie filling, makes a great potluck or picnic dish. "You can substitute other fruits, such as red grapes or bananas, and use strawberry pie filling instead of cherry," notes Martha Cutler of Willard, Missouri, who adapted her grandmother's recipe.

PERFECT SUMMER FRUIT SALAD

Perfect Summer Fruit Salad image

The perfect fruit salad for a backyard bbq or any occasion. There are never leftovers! This is one of my favorite fruit salad recipes, as I think the sauce really makes it. This salad is tastier the longer you can let it soak in its juices. I prefer 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator before I serve it. Enjoy.

Tips:

  • Choose the right apples: Use a variety of apples that are firm and tart, such as Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Braeburn. This will give your salad a nice balance of sweetness and tartness.
  • Slice the apples thinly: This will help them absorb the dressing better and make them easier to eat.
  • Use fresh, ripe fruit: This will give your salad the best flavor and texture.
  • Don't overdress the salad: A little bit of dressing goes a long way. You can always add more if needed.
  • Serve the salad chilled: This will help the flavors to meld together and make the salad even more refreshing.

Conclusion:

Apple pie fruit salad is a delicious and refreshing way to enjoy your favorite fall fruit. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste. Whether you like a classic apple pie filling or something more unique, there's an apple pie fruit salad recipe out there for you.
