Tips:

  • Use a variety of apples. This will give your apple pie bombs a more complex flavor and texture. Some good choices include Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, and Pink Lady apples.
  • Peel and core your apples before slicing them. This will make them easier to work with and will help them to cook evenly.
  • Don't overcrowd the wonton wrappers. If you put too much filling in each wrapper, they will be difficult to seal and will likely burst open during baking.
  • Be careful not to overcook the apple pie bombs. They should be golden brown and bubbly, but the filling should still be slightly firm.
  • Serve the apple pie bombs warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Conclusion:

Apple pie bombs are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are a great way to use up leftover apples, and they can be made ahead of time and frozen for later. Whether you are serving them as a dessert or a snack, apple pie bombs are sure to be a hit.
