Steps:
- 1. Use banana cream pie pudding and two mashed bananas. I have also added 1/4 cup of chocolate chip to this on occasion. I use the small bundt pans and bake for about 40 - 50 minutes. ~~~or~~~ For banana walnut bread, I substitute banana cream pudding mix, 1/3 cup chopped walnuts and a mashed banana, and omit the cinnamon. ~~~or~~~ Add 1 cup of grated zucchini. Make sure you squeeze out the excess liquid. bake for about 75 minutes but start checking after 50 minutes.
Tips:
- Use fresh zucchini: Fresh zucchini has a higher water content, which makes the bread moist and flavorful. If you only have frozen zucchini, thaw it and squeeze out the excess moisture before using.
- Grate the zucchini: Grating the zucchini helps to release its moisture and makes it easier to incorporate into the batter. You can use a box grater or a food processor fitted with the grating blade.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can make the bread tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake the bread at the right temperature: To ensure that the bread bakes evenly, preheat the oven to the correct temperature before placing the bread inside. The ideal temperature for baking zucchini bread is 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Let the bread cool completely before slicing: This will help to prevent the bread from crumbling.
Conclusion:
Amish zucchini bread is a delicious and easy-to-make bread that is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. It is moist, flavorful, and has a slightly sweet flavor. With its simple ingredients and straightforward instructions, this bread is sure to become a favorite in your home.
