Tips:
- Use a quality pie crust: Whether you're making your own or using a store-bought crust, make sure it's fresh and flaky. A good crust will hold the filling together and provide a delicious base for the pie.
- Don't overfill the pie: Too much filling can make the pie difficult to assemble and bake evenly. Fill the pie crust no more than two-thirds full.
- Bake the pie in a preheated oven: This will help the crust cook evenly and prevent the filling from becoming runny.
- Let the pie cool before serving: This will allow the filling to set and the flavors to develop.
- Serve the pie with your favorite toppings: A scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or fresh fruit are all great options.
