Tips:

- For the perfect pie crust, use a combination of butter and shortening. This will result in a flaky and tender crust. - Chill the pie dough before rolling it out. This will make it easier to work with and less likely to tear. - Be sure to preheat your oven before baking the pie. This will help to ensure that the crust cooks evenly. - If you don't have a pie plate, you can use a 9-inch springform pan. Just be sure to trim the excess dough around the edges. - To make sure the filling is thick and glossy, cook it over medium heat until it has thickened. - If you want a more rustic pie, you can skip the lattice top crust and simply brush the top of the pie with milk or cream before baking. - Serve the pie warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Conclusion:

1970s French Strawberry Pie is a classic dessert that is perfect for any occasion. With its flaky crust, sweet and tangy filling, and lattice top, it's sure to be a hit with everyone. So next time you're looking for a delicious and easy-to-make pie, give this recipe a try!
