2 cloves garlic, crushed in their skins
1 green pepper, diced

Tips for Making Zucchini and Sweet Corn Sauté

  • Choose fresh, tender zucchini and sweet corn. Look for zucchini that is deep green in color and has no blemishes. Sweet corn should be plump and have a bright yellow color.
  • Cut the zucchini and sweet corn into uniform pieces so that they cook evenly. Zucchini should be cut into 1/2-inch thick slices or cubes. Sweet corn should be cut off the cob into 1-inch pieces.
  • Use a large skillet or wok to cook the zucchini and sweet corn. This will help to prevent the vegetables from overcrowding and steaming instead of sautéing.
  • Heat the oil over medium-high heat before adding the zucchini and sweet corn. This will help to prevent the vegetables from sticking to the pan.
  • Cook the zucchini and sweet corn for 5-7 minutes, or until the zucchini is tender and the sweet corn is heated through. Stir the vegetables frequently to prevent them from burning.
  • Season the zucchini and sweet corn with salt, pepper, and any other desired seasonings. Serve immediately.

Conclusion

Zucchini and sweet corn sauté is a quick and easy side dish that is perfect for summer. It is a healthy and delicious way to enjoy these fresh vegetables. The zucchini and sweet corn are sautéed in a little bit of oil with some seasonings, until they are tender and slightly browned. This dish is a great way to add some extra vegetables to your meal, and it is also a good source of vitamins and minerals.
