Tips:

1. **Choosing the Right Zucchini and Squash:** - Opt for firm and unblemished zucchini and squash. Look for smaller ones, as they tend to have fewer seeds and a sweeter flavor. - If using yellow squash, choose ones that are deep yellow in color, as they are sweeter and have a more delicate flavor. 2. **Pre-Cooking the Vegetables:** - Pre-cooking the zucchini and squash helps remove excess moisture, resulting in a less watery frittata. - Slicing the vegetables thinly ensures even cooking and prevents them from becoming too soggy. - Sautéing the vegetables in a non-stick pan with a small amount of oil adds flavor and prevents sticking. 3. **Seasoning the Frittata:** - Use a combination of fresh herbs, such as basil, oregano, or thyme, to enhance the flavor of the frittata. - Add a generous amount of freshly grated Parmesan cheese for a cheesy and savory taste. - Season the egg mixture with salt and pepper to taste before pouring it into the pan. 4. **Cooking the Frittata:** - Heat the non-stick skillet over medium heat before adding the egg mixture. This helps prevent the frittata from sticking and ensures even cooking. - Cook the frittata undisturbed for a few minutes until the bottom is set. Then, gently shake the pan to loosen the frittata from the sides and allow the uncooked egg to flow to the bottom. - Continue cooking until the top is set and the center is cooked through. 5. **Serving and Enjoying:** - Allow the frittata to cool slightly before slicing and serving. This helps it hold its shape better. - Garnish with fresh herbs or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese for an extra touch of flavor. - Serve the frittata warm or at room temperature, accompanied by a side salad or roasted vegetables.
