Tips:
- For the best flavor, use high-quality steak. Look for a steak that is well-marbled and has a deep red color.
- To achieve a perfect sear, make sure your skillet is very hot before adding the steak. You should hear a sizzle when the steak hits the pan.
- Don't overcrowd the skillet. If you're cooking multiple steaks, cook them in batches so that they have enough room to sear properly.
- Cook the steak to your desired doneness. A medium-rare steak will have a slightly pink center, while a medium steak will be cooked all the way through.
- Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving. This will help the juices redistribute throughout the steak, resulting in a more tender and flavorful bite.
Conclusion:
This zesty Cajun pepper steak is a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. The steak is seared to perfection and then coated in a flavorful Cajun pepper sauce. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad, and you'll have a meal that everyone will love.
