  • Choose Fresh Ingredients: For the best flavor and texture, use fresh broccoli florets and chicken breasts.
  • Use a Large Casserole Dish: This recipe makes a lot of casserole, so be sure to use a large casserole dish to accommodate all of the ingredients.
  • Don't Overcook the Chicken: To prevent the chicken from becoming dry, cook it until it is just cooked through. You can check this by inserting a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the chicken breast; it should read 165°F (74°C).
  • Use a Sharp Knife: When chopping the broccoli and chicken, use a sharp knife to ensure clean, even cuts.
  • Don't Be Afraid to Experiment: This recipe is a great starting point, but feel free to experiment with different ingredients and flavors to create your own unique dish.

This zesty broccoli chicken casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. It is packed with flavor, thanks to the combination of broccoli, chicken, cheese, and a zesty sauce. This casserole is also a great way to get your kids to eat their vegetables.
