Tips:

  • Prep your ingredients beforehand: Dicing and slicing your vegetables, as well as measuring out your spices and seasonings, will help save time and ensure that your soup comes together quickly and easily.
  • Use quality cuts of beef: Chuck roast or stew meat are both excellent choices for this soup, as they will provide a rich, beefy flavor. If you can, opt for organic or grass-fed beef for the best flavor and quality.
  • Don't skimp on the vegetables: Vegetables add flavor, texture, and nutrients to your soup. Be generous with your portions of carrots, celery, and onion, and feel free to add other vegetables that you enjoy, such as potatoes, parsnips, or turnips.
  • Use a good quality beef broth: The broth is the base of your soup, so it's important to use a good quality one. Look for a broth that is low in sodium and has a rich, beefy flavor. You can also make your own beef broth from scratch using beef bones, vegetables, and herbs.
