Number Of Ingredients 7

2 lbs hamburger
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup, undiluted
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
1 (8 ounce) package processed cheese, such as Kraft or 1 (8 ounce) package Velveeta cheese

Steps:

  • Brown hamburger with salt, pepper, brown sugar and onion.

  • Add cream of chicken soup to egg noodles.
  • Layer hamburger mixture and noodle mixture in 9x12" casserole with processed cheese between layers.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.

Tips:

  • For the perfect Yum-E-Setta: Use fresh, ripe eggplants. Japanese eggplants offer a less bitter taste and have fewer seeds.
  • To prevent the eggplant from absorbing too much oil: Salt the eggplant slices and let them rest for 30 minutes before frying. This will draw out excess moisture.
  • For a crispy coating: Double-coat the eggplant slices in flour and panko breadcrumbs.
  • To achieve an even cook: Fry the eggplant slices in shallow oil over medium heat.
  • For a flavorful sauce: Use a combination of soy sauce, mirin, sake, and dashi. You can also add other ingredients like ginger, garlic, and green onions.
  • To serve: Top the Yum-E-Setta with the flavorful sauce, grated daikon radish, and chopped green onions.

Conclusion:

Yum-E-Setta is a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed as an appetizer, main course, or side dish. With its crispy coating, tender eggplant, and flavorful sauce, it's sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it. So next time you're looking for a new and exciting dish to try, give Yum-E-Setta a try. You won't be disappointed!
