Categories     Meat

Time 15m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
1/2 cup Yoshida gourmet sauce
1 (8 ounce) can pineapple rings or 4 fresh pineapple rings
4 slices cheddar cheese or 4 slices swiss cheese
4 hamburger buns

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, combine beef, pepper, and 1/4 cup Gourmet Sauce.
  • Shape into 4 patties.
  • Grill burgers to desired doneness.
  • Grill pineapple rings then baste burgers and pineapple with remaining 1/4 cup sauce during last 1-2 minutes of grilling.
  • Place cheese on burgers, top each with a slice of pineapple and serve on a bun.

Tips:

  • Use a large, heavy-bottomed pot to make the sauce. This will help to prevent the sauce from burning.
  • Cook the sauce over medium heat, stirring constantly. This will help to ensure that the sauce thickens evenly.
  • Use a wooden spoon to stir the sauce. This will help to prevent the sauce from sticking to the pot.
  • Do not add the cornstarch slurry until the sauce has thickened. This will help to prevent the sauce from becoming too thick.
  • Let the sauce cool slightly before using it. This will help to prevent the sauce from splattering when you add it to your food.

Conclusion:

Yoshida's Teriyaki Sauce is a delicious and versatile sauce that can be used on a variety of dishes. It is perfect for marinating meats, poultry, and fish, or as a dipping sauce for appetizers. You can also use it to glaze vegetables or to add flavor to stir-fries. No matter how you use it, Yoshida's Teriyaki Sauce is sure to please everyone at your table.
