Never send DH to buy yogurt - - you'll get plain yogurt every time, and then the little ones say, "But Mommy, it's yucky!" In a pinch, what could I do, but make my own flavored yogurt & it is a hit!

Time 2m

Yield 1 cup, 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 2

1 cup plain yogurt
Jello gelatin, any flavor

Steps:

  • Sprinkle your favorite flavor jello into the yogurt.
  • Mix.
  • Repeat until you reach the intensity of flavor you prefer.
  • Top with Non-Pareils or other sprinkles and serve.

Tips:

  • Use plain yogurt: Flavored yogurts may contain added sugars or artificial sweeteners, which can alter the taste and texture of the jello.
  • Choose a high-quality gelatin: Gelatin is the main ingredient that gives jello its structure. Look for a brand that is unflavored and has no added colors or preservatives.
  • Follow the package directions for the gelatin: Gelatin brands may have different instructions for preparing the jello, so it is important to follow the directions on the package.
  • Use fresh fruit: Fresh fruit will give your jello a vibrant color and flavor. If you are using frozen fruit, thaw it completely before adding it to the jello.
  • Chill the jello thoroughly before serving: Jello needs to be chilled for at least 4 hours, but overnight is best. This will allow it to set properly and develop its full flavor.

Conclusion:

Yogurt jello is a delicious and refreshing dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be customized with your favorite flavors and toppings. Whether you are looking for a healthy snack or a decadent dessert, yogurt jello is a great option.
