Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 -3 cups greek style plain yogurt
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups toasted walnuts
1/2 cup honey

Steps:

  • Mix yogurt and vanilla. In 4 glasses, alternate layers of yogurt, then walnuts, then honey. Start with yogurt, end with honey.

Tips:

  • Choose the right yogurt: For the best results, use plain whole milk yogurt. Greek yogurt can also be used, but it will be thicker and tangier.
  • Use fresh honey: Fresh honey has a more delicate flavor than processed honey. If you don't have fresh honey, you can use maple syrup or agave nectar instead.
  • Toast the walnuts: Toasting the walnuts will bring out their flavor and make them more crunchy. You can toast them in a pan over medium heat or in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add other toppings: In addition to honey and walnuts, you can add other toppings to your yogurt, such as fresh berries, granola, or chopped nuts.

Conclusion:

Yogurt drizzled with honey and walnuts is a simple but delicious and healthy breakfast or snack. It's a good source of protein, calcium, and fiber. The honey and walnuts add sweetness and crunch, making it a satisfying and nutritious meal.
