Tips:

  • Select the best rice: Use high-quality, long-grain rice like Basmati or Jasmine for fluffy and separate grains.
  • Soak the rice: Soaking the rice for at least 30 minutes before cooking helps remove excess starch and results in fluffier rice.
  • Cook the rice properly: Follow the instructions on the rice package for the correct water-to-rice ratio and cooking time. Fluff the rice with a fork after cooking to separate the grains.
  • Use fresh and flavorful ingredients: Choose ripe tomatoes, juicy lemons, and aromatic herbs for a vibrant and delicious Fatah.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When cooking the meat, avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure even cooking and prevent the meat from steaming instead of browning.
  • Adjust the spices to your taste: Feel free to adjust the amount of spices and herbs used in the recipe to suit your preferences.
  • Serve Fatah warm: For the best experience, serve Fatah while it's still warm so that the flavors can fully blend and the textures remain distinct.
