YEAH, BUT MY VEGAN BANANA BREAD HAS NO SOY, NO MARGARINE EITHER

Yeah, but My Vegan Banana Bread Has No Soy, No Margarine Either image

The reason for the no margarine is that vegan margarine is often made from palm oil, and the farming of palm oil is endangering orangutans, so I've heard. Anyway, this is great bread. If you have kids, make sure they eat their dinner first because they will really fill themselves on this, especially if it has some peanut butter on it.

Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your bread will be.
  • Mash the bananas thoroughly: This will help to create a smooth, even batter.
  • Use a combination of flours: This will give your bread a more complex flavor and texture.
  • Add a little bit of sugar: This will help to balance out the bitterness of the bananas.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can result in a tough, dense bread.
  • Bake the bread at a moderate temperature: This will help to prevent the bread from drying out.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing: This will help to prevent the bread from crumbling.

Conclusion:

With these tips in mind, you're sure to make a delicious and satisfying vegan banana bread. This bread is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. It's also a great way to use up overripe bananas. So next time you have some bananas that are about to go bad, don't throw them away! Make a loaf of vegan banana bread instead. You won't be disappointed.
