BEE SANDWICHES
Steps:
- Using a round cookie cutter, cut a large circle from each slice of bread. (Don't throw out the crusts, pop them in a bag in the freezer to save for breadcrumbs for future recipes!)
- Cut each slice of cheddar cheese with the same round cutter to trim off any corners. Spread butter over 4 of the wholemeal bread circles and top with the cheese rounds.
- Take the remaining circles of bread and pile them on top of one another in a neat stack. Slice each stack in half, then each half in half again so that each circle has been turned into 4 strips of bread.
- Lightly butter each strip and place them butter side down in alternate stripes of brown and white to create a round stripey top for each sandwich.
- Cut 4 heart shapes from the tortilla wrap and push one into each sandwich, point side in, to form the wings.
- Top each sandwich with a candy eyeball to finish.
WINNIE THE POOH PICNIC SANDWICHES
Don't Say, "Gross!" until you've tried them. Seriously, this is an amazing combinaton. My husband turned his nose up the first time I told him what kind of sandwich I was making him. He now requests them regularly. This recipe comes from the "Winnie-the-Pooh's Picnic Cookbook". These are a great sandwiches to take to the park on a Sunday afternoon, however we tend to eat them more for breakfast or brunch. One day I made them, cut them in to quarters and took them to my office. Everyone loved them. They were all pleasantly surprised. They also make a great conversation piece. It gets everyone talking about weird things they eat (ex. ketchup & pickle sandwiches). I assure you these are MUCH better than ketchup & pickle sandwiches. TRY THEM!!

Tips:
- Choose High-Quality Ingredients: Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor and texture. Fresh bread, ripe tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and flavorful cheese will make a big difference.
- Spread the Spread Evenly: When spreading butter, cream cheese, or other spreads on the bread, be sure to spread it evenly all the way to the edges. This will help prevent the sandwich from becoming dry and crumbly.
- Don't Overstuff the Sandwich: While it's tempting to pile on the fillings, be careful not to overstuff the sandwich. It should be easy to close and eat without everything falling out.
- Use Different Types of Bread: Don't be afraid to experiment with different types of bread. Try using sourdough, rye, or whole wheat bread for a different flavor and texture.
- Get Creative with Fillings: There are endless possibilities when it comes to fillings for picnic sandwiches. Try using different types of cheese, meats, vegetables, and spreads. You can also add herbs, spices, and sauces for extra flavor.
- Pack the Sandwiches Properly: When packing the sandwiches for a picnic, be sure to wrap them tightly in plastic wrap or foil. This will help keep them fresh and prevent them from getting soggy.
- Serve the Sandwiches with Accompaniments: Serve the sandwiches with a variety of accompaniments, such as chips, fruit, or a simple salad. This will make the meal more complete and satisfying.
