Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Choose organic or whole wheat flour, fresh yeast, and pure water. These ingredients will result in a better-tasting and more nutritious loaf of bread.
  • Proof the yeast: This step activates the yeast and ensures that it is alive and active before you add it to the dough. Proofing the yeast also helps to develop the flavor of the bread.
  • Knead the dough properly: Kneading the dough helps to develop the gluten and create a smooth, elastic dough. This results in a bread that is light and airy.
  • Let the dough rise in a warm place: This allows the yeast to multiply and produce gas, which causes the dough to rise. A warm place will help the dough rise more quickly.
  • Bake the bread at a high temperature: This creates a crispy crust and a light, fluffy interior.
