Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor.
  • Make sure your butter and eggs are at room temperature before starting. This will help them to cream together more easily and make a smoother dough.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies to hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Conclusion:

These whole wheat snickerdoodles are a delicious and healthy twist on the classic cookie. They are made with whole wheat flour, oats, and cinnamon, and they have a soft and chewy texture. The cookies are also coated in a cinnamon-sugar mixture, which gives them a sweet and crunchy exterior.
