Tips:

  • Use fresh pumpkin puree: Fresh pumpkin puree provides the best flavor and texture for pumpkin bread. To make your own pumpkin puree, simply roast a pumpkin in the oven until tender, then scoop out the flesh and puree it in a food processor or blender.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will result in a tough, dense loaf of bread. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use good quality chocolate chips: The chocolate chips are a key ingredient in this bread, so be sure to use good quality chocolate chips that you enjoy the taste of.
  • Bake the bread until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This is the best way to ensure that the bread is cooked through.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing: This will help to prevent the bread from crumbling.
