Tips:

  • Choose the right pasta: Whole wheat pasta is a healthier option than regular pasta, as it is made with whole grains and has more fiber. It also cooks faster than regular pasta, so you can save time in the kitchen.
  • Prepare the kale properly: Wash the kale thoroughly and remove the tough stems. Then, chop the kale into bite-sized pieces. You can also use baby kale, which is more tender and does not need to be chopped.
  • Cook the pasta and kale together: This is a great way to save time and ensure that the kale is cooked evenly. Simply add the kale to the pot of boiling pasta a few minutes before the pasta is done cooking.
  • Use a flavorful sauce: The sauce is what will really bring this dish together. You can use a simple olive oil and garlic sauce, or you can get more creative with a pesto sauce or a creamy Alfredo sauce.
  • Add some protein: If you want to make this dish more filling, you can add some protein, such as grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu. You can also add some roasted vegetables, such as broccoli or bell peppers.
  • Garnish with Parmesan cheese: A sprinkling of Parmesan cheese adds a delicious finishing touch to this dish.

Conclusion:

This whole wheat pasta with kale is a delicious and healthy meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal, give this recipe a try.
