1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 large eggs, room temperature
1-1/4 cups unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup canola oil
3 tablespoons 2% milk
1/4 cup packed brown sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine the flours, sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, baking soda, salt, baking powder and nutmeg. In a small bowl, whisk the eggs, applesauce, oil and milk. 1/2 cup warm milk (70° to 80°)
1/2 cup water (70° to 80°)
1 egg
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups bread flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2-1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
