Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of meat: This marinade is best suited for pork loin, pork chops, boneless, skinless chicken breasts, or chicken thighs.
  • Use fresh herbs: Fresh herbs will give your marinade the best flavor. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but use only half the amount.
  • Let the meat marinate for at least 30 minutes: The longer you marinate the meat, the more flavorful it will be. However, don't marinate the meat for more than 24 hours, or it will start to break down.
  • Use a non-reactive container: When marinating meat, use a non-reactive container, such as a glass, ceramic, or stainless steel bowl. Avoid using aluminum or iron containers, as they can react with the marinade and alter the flavor of the meat.
  • Discard the marinade after use: Do not reuse the marinade after it has been used to marinate meat. The marinade can contain harmful bacteria that can make you sick.

Conclusion:

This white wine herb marinade is a versatile marinade that can be used for a variety of pork and chicken dishes. It's easy to make, and it adds a delicious flavor to the meat. Whether you're grilling, roasting, or pan-frying your meat, this marinade is sure to please.
