Sometimes referred to as an adult milkshake, the White Russian is a classic cocktail that's creamy, boozy and has just the right amount of coffee flavor. When making each one, the cream is poured off the back of a spoon for a neat layer on top. Enjoy this subtly sweet three-ingredient drink as an after-dinner indulgence.

WHITE RUSSIAN DRINK - VERY LOW FAT

White Russian Drink - Very Low Fat image

This is my version of the original recipe I posted earlier. It does NOT taste low fat. If you like anything with a chocolate flavor, you'll love this drink. I got the recipe from one of the bartenders at a large establishment in Dallas, Texas. They make them slightly different than the traditional White Russian. If the drink is a little strong for you, increase the amount of Coke and/or half-and-half a bit. I keep all of the ingredients chilled in the fridge, and use no ice, but that's just my personal preference; traditionally they are served over ice. You can prepare multiple servings ahead of time, and store in a pitcher in the fridge for a day or two.

Tips:

  • Chill your Irish cream, vodka, and coffee liqueur before making the drink. This will help to create a smooth and refreshing cocktail.
  • Use high-quality ingredients to make the best possible White Russian. Look for a smooth and creamy Irish cream, a high-quality vodka, and a rich coffee liqueur.
  • Be careful not to over-shake the drink. Over-shaking can cause the ice to melt too much, which will dilute the drink and make it watery.
  • Garnish your White Russian with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a coffee bean. This will add a touch of flavor and elegance to the drink.
  • Experiment with different ratios of Irish cream, vodka, and coffee liqueur to find the perfect combination for your taste.

Conclusion:
