Tips:

  • To achieve the perfect consistency for your pancake batter, aim for a texture that resembles thick cream. If the batter appears too thick, gradually stir in more milk until you reach the desired consistency.
  • Allow the pancake batter to rest for a few minutes before cooking. This resting period allows the ingredients to fully hydrate and results in fluffier pancakes.
  • Heat your pan or griddle over medium-low heat. This prevents the pancakes from burning while ensuring they cook evenly throughout.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot greased pan for each pancake. Do not overcrowd the pan, as this can hinder even cooking.
  • Flip the pancakes when bubbles form around the edges and the undersides appear golden brown. This typically takes around 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Serve the pancakes immediately with your desired toppings, such as fresh raspberries, white chocolate chips, maple syrup, or whipped cream.
