WHITE CHOCOLATE PARTY MIX AND CANDY JUMBLE

White Chocolate Party Mix and Candy Jumble image

This is addictive, and easy to make. You can make substitutions based on your own preferences. For example, I have used Captain Crunch Peanut Butter cereal instead of the Cocoa Puffs. You could substitute Cocoa Crisp cereal for the Rice Krispies for an even chocolate-ier taste.

Time 15m

Yield 12 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 (24 ounce) package white candy coating
1 3/4 cups mini marshmallows (white)
1 3/4 cups Cocoa Puffs cereal or 1 3/4 cups Reese's Puffs cereal
1 3/4 cups Rice Krispies
1 3/4 cups small pretzels
1 3/4 cups peanuts
1 cup M&M's plain chocolate candy, mini bits

Steps:

  • Melt the candy coating in the microwave on 50% power for a few minutes until melted. (Note: It keeps its shape when melted - you can check with a fork) (Note2: Don't let any water get into it or it will seize up).
  • Pour marshmallows, cereal, pretzels, and peanuts into a bowl and mix well. Pour melted coating over mixture and stir until all is coated. Work quickly before the it cools.
  • Immediately add M&Ms and stir just until mixed. Don't stir too long or the M&Ms will melt.

WHITE CHOCOLATE PARTY MIX

This party mix will satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. The white chocolate that coats everything is sweet and a nice contrast to the salty pretzels and peanuts. Salty and sweet is one of our favorite flavor combinations. We loved Amber's suggestion of adding M&M's. The chocolate is a tasty and festive addition. A great snack or...

Time 20m

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 bag(s) pretzels, 12 oz; your choice of style, but I use small twist
1 Golden Grahams, regular size box; 12 oz.
1 jar(s) peanuts, 32 oz
2 pkg white almond bark; 24 oz package

Steps:

  • 1. Mix pretzels, Golden Grahams, & pretzels in a large bowl.
  • 2. Melt white almond bark according to package directions.
  • 3. Pour almond bark over pretzel mix. Mix well, trying to coat all pieces with almond bark.
  • 4. Spread out onto wax paper. Let cool & dry.
  • 5. Break into pieces.
  • 6. Store in air-tight container or gallon Ziploc baggies.
  • 7. During holidays, I add M&M's to this. Red & green for Christmas, pastels for Easter, etc. If you do this, make sure you add the M&M's last so the almond bark has time to cool just a bit... you don't want to melt the M&M's. It's great for gift giving. Hope you enjoy!

Tips:

  • Use high-quality white chocolate. This will ensure that your party mix has a rich, creamy flavor.
  • Don't skimp on the butter. Butter helps to bind the ingredients together and gives the party mix a more decadent flavor.
  • Use a variety of cereals. This will give your party mix a more interesting texture and flavor.
  • Add your favorite nuts and dried fruits. This will add extra flavor and crunch to your party mix.
  • Don't overcook the party mix. Overcooked party mix will be hard and chewy.
  • Let the party mix cool completely before storing it. This will help to prevent the chocolate from melting.

Conclusion:

White chocolate party mix is a delicious and easy-to-make snack that is perfect for any occasion. It is a great way to use up leftover white chocolate and it is also a fun activity to do with kids. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a delicious party mix that everyone will love.
