Time 5m

Yield 1 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 scoops ice cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup whole milk
3 tablespoons instant malted milk powder
1 -2 tablespoon instant pudding mix

Steps:

  • Scoop the ice cream into a blender.
  • Fill the blender with whole milk until it just covers the first scoop (approximately 1 cup).
  • Put in the vanilla if this is a vanilla oriented shake.
  • Put in the pudding mix (be creative with the flavor).

  • Last put in the malt if you want it malted.
  • Blend in bursts, then blend somewhat slowly to consistency of choice.
  • Enjoy thick milkshake.

Chocolate Protein Shake - 2pts Plus WW image

I like having one with a banana after a good workout. Only 2 points plus on the WW program. FYI, this isn't a sweet shake. Add sugar or artificial sweetener to taste if needed. (90 calories, 3.5 g fat, 8.5g carbs, 7g protein, 5.5g fiber)

Tips:

  • Choose fresh ingredients: Using fresh fruits and vegetables will give your milkshakes a more vibrant flavor and a better texture.
  • Use frozen fruit: Frozen fruit is a great way to add a thick, creamy texture to your milkshakes. You can use frozen berries, bananas, or any other type of fruit that you like.
  • Add yogurt or protein powder: Adding yogurt or protein powder to your milkshakes will give them a boost of protein and make them more filling.
  • Use low-fat milk or almond milk: Using low-fat milk or almond milk will help to reduce the calories in your milkshakes.
  • Don't add too much sugar: Milkshakes can be high in sugar, so it's important to be mindful of how much sugar you add. You can use natural sweeteners like honey or maple syrup instead of refined sugar.
