Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: For this recipe, small, waxy potatoes like Yukon Gold or Red Bliss are best, as they hold their shape well and won't fall apart during cooking.
  • Boil the potatoes until they are just tender: You don't want to overcook them, or they will become mushy.
  • Use a large skillet or Dutch oven to brown the potatoes: This will ensure that they get evenly cooked and crispy.
  • Don't overcrowd the skillet: If you add too many potatoes at once, they will steam instead of brown.
  • Season the potatoes generously: Use a combination of salt, pepper, and your favorite herbs and spices.
  • Serve the potatoes hot: These potatoes are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven or skillet.

Conclusion:

These roasted potatoes are a delicious and versatile side dish that can be served with a variety of main courses. They are also easy to make and can be prepared ahead of time, making them a great option for busy weeknights.
