WASABI PEANUTS

I made these with macadamia nuts, but I will also try with peanuts. Good stuff, and much less expensive to make your own than to pay top dollar for someone else to season. Recipe courtesy of www.eatdrinkbetter.com. Serving size is estimated.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality wasabi powder: The quality of the wasabi powder you use will greatly impact the flavor of your peanuts. Look for a brand that is made from real Japanese wasabi and has a vibrant green color.
  • Don't add too much wasabi powder: A little bit of wasabi goes a long way, so start with a small amount and add more to taste. If you add too much, your peanuts will be too spicy.
  • Use fresh peanuts: Fresh peanuts will have a better flavor and texture than stale peanuts.
  • Roast the peanuts before adding the wasabi mixture: Roasting the peanuts will help to bring out their flavor and make them more crispy.
  • Let the peanuts cool completely before adding the wasabi mixture: This will help to prevent the wasabi mixture from melting.
  • Store the peanuts in an airtight container: This will help to keep them fresh and crispy.

Conclusion:

Wasabi peanuts are a delicious and easy-to-make snack that is perfect for any occasion. They are a great way to add a little bit of spice to your life!
