Steps:
- Squeeze all water out of tomatoes, then julienne cut into fine strips. It is important that all water be removed from tomatoes, and they must be added last, or dip will discolor. Combine remaning ingredients, except tomatoes and cheese for garnish, in food processor. Blend well at low speed. Add tomatoes and slowly mix by hand for about 1 minute. When ready to serve, heat through in microwave oven. Remove from microwave and sprinkle with Asiago cheese. Put in broiler and heat until cheese browns. This recipe yields 3 cups.
Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh asiago cheese, cream cheese, and walnuts will give your dip the best flavor.
- Don't overcook the dip: Overcooking will make the dip thick and rubbery. Cook it just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve the dip warm: This dip is best served warm, so make it just before you're ready to serve it.
- Garnish the dip with chopped walnuts: This will add a nice flavor and texture to the dip.
- Serve the dip with your favorite dippers: Pita chips, crackers, and vegetables are all great options.
Conclusion:
This Walnut Brewery Asiago Cheese Dip is a delicious and easy appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It's made with fresh asiago cheese, cream cheese, walnuts, and spices, and it's sure to be a hit with your guests. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy appetizer, give this recipe a try.
