Tips:

  • Tenderize the venison: Venison can be tough, so it's important to tenderize it before cooking. You can do this by marinating it in a mixture of acids and enzymes, such as vinegar, lemon juice, or pineapple juice. You can also tenderize venison by pounding it with a meat mallet or by cooking it slowly in a slow cooker or braising liquid.
  • Use a hot pan: When you're stir-frying venison, it's important to use a hot pan. This will help to sear the venison and prevent it from sticking. You can also use a wok, which is a large, round pan that is perfect for stir-frying.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When you're stir-frying venison, it's important to not overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the venison from cooking evenly. Cook the venison in batches if necessary.
  • Stir-fry the venison until it's cooked through: Venison should be cooked to an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit. You can check the internal temperature of the venison with a meat thermometer.
  • Serve the venison stir-fry immediately: Venison stir-fry is best served immediately. You can serve it over rice, noodles, or vegetables.
