Tips:

  • Choose the right ground beef: Use 80/20 ground beef for the best flavor and texture. If you use leaner ground beef, you may need to add some extra fat, such as olive oil or butter, to the pot.
  • Brown the beef thoroughly: This will help develop the flavor and prevent the beef from becoming tough.
  • Use a variety of vegetables: This will add flavor, texture, and nutrients to your chili. Some good choices include onions, carrots, celery, bell peppers, corn, and black beans.
  • Use a good quality chili seasoning: This will help give your chili a rich, flavorful taste. You can find chili seasoning at most grocery stores.
  • Simmer the chili for at least 30 minutes: This will allow the flavors to meld and develop.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings: Some good choices include shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, and chopped cilantro.

Conclusion:

Veggie beef chili is a hearty, flavorful dish that is perfect for a cold day. It is also a great way to use up leftover vegetables. This recipe is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy meal, give veggie beef chili a try.
