Tips:

  • Prep your ingredients: Before you start cooking, make sure to chop all your vegetables and measure out your spices. This will help you stay organized and ensure that everything cooks evenly.
  • Use a large skillet: A large skillet will give your vegetables plenty of room to cook and prevent them from getting crowded. If you don't have a large skillet, you can cook the vegetables in batches.
  • Don't overcrowd the skillet: When you add the vegetables to the skillet, make sure to spread them out in a single layer. If you overcrowd the skillet, the vegetables will steam instead of sautéing and they won't get as crispy.
  • Sauté the vegetables over medium heat: Medium heat is ideal for sautéing vegetables. It will help them cook evenly without burning.
  • Stir the vegetables frequently: Stirring the vegetables frequently will help them cook evenly and prevent them from sticking to the pan.
  • Season the vegetables to taste: Once the vegetables are cooked, season them to taste with salt, pepper, and any other desired spices.
  • Serve the vegetables immediately: Vegetable skillet supper is best served immediately after it is cooked. The vegetables will be at their most tender and flavorful.
