VANILLA ICED COFFEE RECIPE

Vanilla Iced Coffee Recipe image

Easy Vanilla Iced coffee, the fastest way to make this at home any time with leftover cold filter coffee. Vanilla extract, which you usually use in your baking can be used, a few drops, to add the ultimate vanilla touch to your iced coffee. The measurements are per glass, I use regular sized mason jars.

Time 3m

Number Of Ingredients 5

a couple Ice Cubes
3/4 glass full Cold Filter ground Coffee (depends on how much milk you want)
1-2 Tablespoons Powdered Sugar (optional, skip for low-carb)
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
top up with Milk

Steps:

  • For the Cold Filter Coffee, simply prepare coffee as you usually do and let it cool in the fridge until cold enough. This is great when you have a lot of extra filter coffee (work/college coffee insulated flask).
  • To make the easiest and fastest vanilla iced coffee simply add ice cubes to your glass, pour the coffee over the ice cubes 3/4 or 4/5 of the glass. How much you fill it up depends on how much milk you want in your iced coffee.
  • Then add the sugar and vanilla essence and stir well.
  • Top up with the milk and enjoy your iced vanilla coffee.

VANILLA ICED COFFEE -- SIMPLE AND EASY

Vanilla Iced Coffee -- Simple and Easy image

It only takes a minute to make up a tall, cold glass of this refreshing, hot-weather drink. You've probably got all the ingredients on hand. While its best if you thought ahead to make some double-strong coffee, that last mugfull that got cold in the pot will do. ;) (I confess, I can't afford to use real vanilla all the time. The artificial kind works just fine in this for my tastes).

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 teaspoons instant coffee
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
sugar (optional)
1 teaspoon left over coffee (optional)
2 teaspoons cold water
1 1/4 cups milk (low fat or other)

  • Pulse blend until the ingredients are smooth and frothy.
  • Add the cold milk and pulse blend until all the ingredients are blended well.

  • Sometimes I add the ice to the blender after the first five ingredients have been blended and crush the ice and then add the milk and mix.

Tips

  • For the best flavor, use freshly brewed coffee that has cooled to room temperature.
  • If you don't have instant coffee, you can make your own by brewing a strong cup of coffee and then freeze it in ice cube trays.
  • To make a sweeter iced coffee, add more sugar or flavored syrup to taste.
  • For a creamier iced coffee, add milk, cream, or half-and-half.
