Tips:

  • Use raw almonds for the best results. Roasted almonds will not absorb the syrup as well.
  • Toast the almonds before candying them. This will enhance their flavor and make them more crispy.
  • Use a heavy saucepan for candying the almonds. This will help to prevent the sugar from burning.
  • Stir the almonds constantly while they are candying. This will help to ensure that they are evenly coated with the syrup.
  • When the almonds are finished candying, spread them out on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. This will help to prevent them from sticking together.
  • Allow the almonds to cool completely before storing them.

Conclusion:

Vanilla-cinnamon candied almonds are a delicious and easy-to-make snack. They are perfect for parties, gifts, or simply enjoying at home.
