I first tried this recipe for my daughter's graduation reception. These were the first cookies gone and I had lots of people asking, "Where DID you get this recipe?!" I have tried lots of different chocolate chip cookies over the years and these truly are the "ultimate" in my family's opinion. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. This includes using real butter, not margarine, and using a good quality chocolate chip. The better the ingredients, the better the cookies will taste.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing the dough will result in tough cookies. Mix the dough just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking. Chilling the dough will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature. This will help the cookies get crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
  • Don't overbake the cookies. Overbaking the cookies will make them dry and crumbly. Bake the cookies just until the edges are golden brown.

Conclusion:

These ultimate chocolate chip cookies from Gold Medal Flour are the perfect combination of crispy, chewy, and chocolatey. By following the tips above, you can make these delicious cookies at home and enjoy them with your family and friends.
