Quick Linguine with Turkey Ragu for Two image

This lovely meal for two is done in about 30 minutes. It tastes decadent but is pretty healthy! While you may certainly combine the cooked linguine with the sauce, I prefer to serve the sauce on top of the linguine.

The meatballs are the star of this comforting high-fiber dish. Make them on their own and serve as a mini appetizer or add them to your favorite pasta recipe. For moister, more flavorful meatballs, be sure to use ground turkey, not ground turkey breast.

Tips:

  • Choose the right linguine. Look for a linguine that is made with high-quality durum wheat and has a slightly rough texture. This will help the sauce cling to the pasta.
  • Cook the linguine al dente. This means cooking it until it is still slightly firm to the bite. This will prevent the pasta from becoming mushy when it is tossed with the sauce.
  • Make sure the sauce is flavorful. The sauce is the star of the dish, so make sure it is packed with flavor. Use fresh ingredients and don't be afraid to experiment with different herbs and spices.
  • Add the turkey at the end. This will help to prevent the turkey from drying out.
  • Serve the dish immediately. This is when the pasta is at its best.

Conclusion:

Turkey linguine is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a meal that the whole family will enjoy. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy dinner idea, give turkey linguine a try. You won't be disappointed.
