10 3/4 oz chicken broth, condensed
1/2 c bisquick mix
2 c diced,cooked, turkey, chicken , or ham, etc
1/3 c blanched whole almonds,optional
1 tsp soy sauce
16 oz can chow mein vegetables, drained well
4 oz can mushroom stems and pieces,drained
2 oz jar sliced pimientos, drained, optional
1 to 2 c chow mein noodles, crunchy kind

Steps:

  • 1. Stir broth slowly into Bisquick; pour into an ungreased 1 1/2 quart casseroles. (Mixture will be slightly lumpy- that's a good thing). Stir in remaining ingredients, except noodles. Bake uncovered in a 375^ oven about 40 minutes. Sprinkle noodles over top and bake 5 minutes more. Cool 5 minutes before serving. Serve with soy sauce, if desired. A nice tossed salad on the side- fantastic!

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chow mein noodles, divided
1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup slivered almonds, divided
1/4 cup chopped green pepper

  • In a large bowl, combine the turkey, corn and soup. Stir in the cheese, celery, 1/4 cup noodles, mushrooms, 1/4 cup almonds and green pepper.
