Tips:
- Use a sharp knife to cut the turkey. This will make it easier to get clean, even slices.
- Season the turkey generously. This will help to bring out the flavor of the meat.
- Don't overcook the turkey. Overcooked turkey is dry and tough. Cook it just until it is cooked through.
- Let the turkey rest before slicing. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it more tender.
- Use a flavorful cheese. The cheese will help to bind the empanadas together and add flavor.
- Don't overfill the empanadas. Overfilled empanadas are difficult to seal and will likely burst open during cooking.
- Use a beaten egg to seal the empanadas. This will help to prevent the empanadas from opening during cooking.
- Fry the empanadas in hot oil. This will help to create a crispy crust.
- Serve the empanadas immediately. They are best when served hot and crispy.
Conclusion:
Turkey black bean empanadas are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or game day gatherings. With their flavorful filling and crispy crust, these empanadas are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So gather up your ingredients and get started on making these tasty treats today!
