DILL TUNA SALAD

Dill Tuna Salad image

Although there is a lot of dill in this recipe, it's what gives it such a unique taste. Definitely let this sit for awhile before eating cause it gets better the longer it sits.

Time 10m

Yield 10 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 (12 ounce) cans tuna, drained
1 celery rib, diced
1 small onion, diced
1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Steps:

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Cover and chill for atleast 2 hours before serving.

Tips:

  • Choose the right type of tuna: For the best flavor and texture, use solid white albacore tuna. If you're using canned tuna, be sure to drain it well.
  • Don't overmix the salad: Overmixing can make the salad mushy. Mix it just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh dill, celery, and onion will give your salad the best flavor.
  • Season to taste: Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
  • Chill the salad before serving: This will help the flavors to meld and will make the salad more refreshing.

Conclusion:

Tuna salad with fresh dill is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. It is also a great way to use up leftover tuna. This recipe is simple to follow and can be easily customized to your liking. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give tuna salad with fresh dill a try. You won't be disappointed!
