2 hamburger buns, split
4 slices tomato
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup water
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
homemade or deli bought tuna salad

Steps:

  • Heat to boiling 1 cup water and 1/2 cup b utter.
  • Stir in 1 cup flour and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  • Stir all together until mixture leaves pan and forms a ball (about 1 minute).
  • Take off heat and cool, beat in 4 eggs, one at a time.
  • Beat mixture until smooth and glossy.
  • Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet {1/2 teaspoon batter 2 inches apart).
  • Bake in 450°F oven 15-20 minutes.
  • Cool and split in halves.
  • Fill with tuna fish salad.
  • Makes 50-75 puffs.

½ cup water
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a cookie sheet. Set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan heat butter and water over medium heat until butter melts. Fold in flour all at once, and stir vigorously until a ball forms in the center of the pan. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until fully blended. Mix should be very stiff. Drop by 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon onto prepared cookie sheet.

1 1/3 sheets frozen reduced-fat puff pastry, thawed
425 g tuna in brine
2 spring onions, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, finely minced
1/4 cup capers
1 teaspoon dill
salt, to taste
fresh ground black pepper or cayenne pepper, to taste
1/2-1 cup low-fat sour cream
2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
1 teaspoon lemon zest, finely grated
