3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup thinly sliced celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
1 can (7 ounce size) tuna, drained and gently flaked
1 can (10.25 ounce size) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup chow mein noodles
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/3 cup chow mein noodles, for top of casserole

Steps:

  • Place the butter in a 1 1/2 quart microwave-safe casserole dish. Place in the microwave and cook on high for 30 seconds. Add the celery, onion, and bell pepper. Stir well. Heat on high, uncovered, for 3 minutes, stirring halfway through the cooking time. If the veggies are still too crisp, cook for another 1-2 minutes. 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
2 (6 ounce) cans tuna in water, drained
3/4 cup milk
2 cups chow mein noodles, divided
3/4 cup salted cashews
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Sauté celery, onion and green pepper in 1 1/2 tablespoons butter.
  • In saucepan, melt 3 tablespoons butter.
  • Mix in flour, stir until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and add salt and milk.
  • Heat the mixture until it boils (stirring frequently).

1/4 cup water
1 can (28 oz) stir-fry vegetables, rinsed, drained
1/2 cup chow mein noodles
1/4 cup cashew pieces, if desired
Additional teriyaki sauce, if desired

Steps:

1 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup onion, chopped
2 tablespoons green peppers, chopped
1 tablespoon butter
1 (7 ounce) can tuna
10 1/2 ounces condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup chow mein noodles
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup chow mein noodles

Steps:

  • In a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole, melt 2 Tbs butter or margarine in microwave Add celery, onion and green pepper to melted butter.
