1 minced onion
1 lb ground beef
3 tbsp salad oil
3 8oz cans tomato sauce
1/4 tsp oregano
1 cup burgundy wine
rosemary to taste
marjoram to taste
basil to taste
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
thin spaghetti
1 cup grated cheese

Steps:

  • The day before you plan to serve it saute onion and beef in oil in a large skillet until brown. Add all the other ingredients, except spaghetti and cheese and simmer covered, stirring occasionally for one hour. Cook spaghetti and drain. Add spaghetti to sauce with 1/2 cup of cheese. Put mixture in a 3 quart casserole and refrigerate. ON the day you plan to serve tha casserole, sprinkle the remaining cheese over the casserole. Bake covered in oven at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. The uncover and bake for another 30 minutes.
